Construction - Reflection Post 10

Recently we have been filming a lot, we have covered the narrative filmed in the house and now are currently finishing off filming the sections that cut away from the narrative and shows the group singing. Yesterday we stayed over late so that we could use the green screen so that we can put a special effect in the video, putting us somewhere that we couldn't normally be, for example, in a ghetto somewhere. Something that suits our theme of N-Dubz.

We have started editing our film using Premier on the apple Mac computer, due to the fact that i can't edit i will be taking part in the filming and i will be writing all the blog posts that go along with the editing

We filmed on Monday 21st January. We filmed the opening scene and all the scenes that need to be filmed in a house/bed. We feel that in the next 2 weeks we will have finished our film due to the fact that we are keeping on top of things. We will be filming again on Monday 28th January. We feel that that will be our last filming session.

Construction - The Master Catalogue

The Master Catalogue is like a plan that we use to note down the details of our production, for example the costumes that the actors will wear, the props that are going to be used.. Things like that, its useful because we can just link our video directly to this.

We used editing software called After effects to edit our green screen films. This enabled us to put whatever picture we need behind us. We edited all of our green screen clips and we will now put them into our video that is still currently in the editing process

Construction - Reflection Post 8

This week we are going to do a section of filming and get it all edited together, due to the snow, filming may be a bit difficult because we have a few scenes outside, and looking outside, and if we film today, the snow will be extremely noticeable, and if we continue later on in the week, the snow may have melted and not be there anymore. this is annoying because its going to be hard making it look like its all been filmed on the same day. Unless we do film the whole video in one day, but i doubt we can do that.

We need to film today! Last week we couldn't because of absences of people, although we have to film this week the snow could be a miner issue but i think that well be okay seeing as most of the filming we have to do is inside. Today we should have filmed all the scenes we need too, this will include myself walking up the staris to find Harold and Eden in bed, we will then film a fight scene between myself and Eden as the music continues to play.

I have currently finished the PhotoShop that i started a week ago or so, before breaking up for the christmas half term. I completely made the whole cover from scratch, i only used a small tutorial to get the basic idea of how to create the simple design of the background. After that i just experimented around on photoshop and used a few tools and had gotten used to it, once i did get used to it i could confidently create and finish this CD cover.
Once I had finished that, i started the Prezi explaining how to use PhotoShop, this didn't take me long either because i used a template and all i had to do really was post pictures and explain myself and how to do it yourself. I made it easier to understand also by including screen shots.
